Olivia

We began with a need to provide Olivia B. Hound, CEO, (1998-2008) who had skin problems with a wheat and corn free alternative treat.  In January, 2000 research started to develop a recipe that could meet her needs.  With a $70 investment and an antique Wedgewood stove, All Dogs Bakery was whelped.  After testing the first batch on the dogs at a local doggy day care facility, it was a unanimous paws up and pet owners started asking for treats to take home.  As new flavors were developed the four legged taste testers’ names and pictures were added to each variety package with their ‘testimony’ on the back.  Some of our original testers are no longer with us, but their legacy lives on in our packaging making them gone but not forgotten.  There’s also a long list of new tasters who are waiting for new flavors to develop.

My experience in foodservice ranges over 30 years.  As a chef and dietary manager in both restaurant and hospital care, I found that making treats for Olivia opened an avenue of creativity which allowed me to use my talents in a new way.

As demands for treats grew it became necessary to add another baker.  Dave Wheatley has been working closely with me for several years.  As a professional baker with 25 years experience, he brought the bakery to a higher level with his extensive knowledge of the “chemistry” of baking.  Together, we develop recipes and create all of the treats and pastries available to you today. As you browse our online store, you will see that our products not only please your companion’s taste, they please your eye as well.  We use no fillers or by products.  Every ingredient is easy to pronounce and from an approved foodservice company.  You can shop with confidence knowing that your pet’s treats will be made with the same care we use for our own best friends.

Enjoy.
